Christmas party
Christmas party for children at La Cimade in Béziers
On Monday, December 19, 2022, we held our first party for refugee children at La Cimade since Covid. We provided 61 goody bags for the resident children as well as a meal, face painting, and a Disco. A big thank you to everyone who donated to fund this party and to Bassie, and the amazing team of elves,
Nicole, Justine, Lesley, Pauline, Sharon, Domi and Jean Yves.
Very successful evening, to be repeated!!
Concert at Cassans
Thank you to everyone who came to the concert in Cassan on December 3, 2022. It was a truly memorable evening. We raised a lot of money and collected lots of blankets and food. Thank you to everyone involved and of course to O Sisters for their wonderful singing. See you next year!
This weekend of November 26-27, 2022, at the Christmas Market in Valmagne ( Cracker Fair ), three LSR volunteers will do face painting for children.
You will also be able to learn a little more about LSR and what we do, as well as purchase tickets for the upcoming Christmas concert.
It's always a great event, so come say hi!
Join us for a magical evening of Christmas music and carols at the historic Château de Cassan.
Mulled wine and appetizers are included in the ticket price €10 for the concert. Don't forget to bring your best voices because we encourage you to participate in some Christmas carols. There will also have a raffle drawn that same evening.
As always, all profits from this event will go directly in support of our work helping refugees in Languedoc and beyond. We hope to see you there!
